Here we are in the middle of the year. The one thing that is missing is the lovely summer sunshine. This month the  project at our group was planned to keep us cool. We may not need it this year. The festive season at the end of the year is starting to get mentioned among sewers who like to start early with gifts and projects. If you need help to get started with thinking about the festive season check our diary page for workshops. If you are looking for an overload of inspiration the month of  August begins with Festival of Quilts with a wonderful selection of beautiful quilts and trade stands. Have a (hopefully) sunny sewing summer.
