The hot summer temperatures have left us and now it is time to think about the coming of Autumn. The spidars are busy in the garden spinning webs that glisten in the morning light. How lovely it would be to be able to sew with threads so fine but so strong. The children are returning to school as a new term begins. May be now is the time for us to learn something new. This month in group we are sewing another block for our Quilt as you go Project started last year. This pattern although traditional is a new one to me. Check the diary page if you are interested in seeing a lovely exhibition this month.
Kettering Quilters was established in 1983 by two keen experienced quilters to further an interest in patchwork. We are a friendly group of keen sewers who meet to share our knowledge of traditional blocks more modern techniques and small sewn projects.
