Kettering Quilters
Kettering Quilters

May has been and gone and what a month of contrasts it has been. We have had 2 bank holiday weekends and a lovely Royal Wedding and weather that has spanned everything from unseasonal heat at the beginning of the month and for some rain that left floods in its wake. The gardens and countryside are looking lovely and June really is "busting out all over". Holiday time is really taking over and if visiting a different part of the country maybe you will find a local exhibition or fabric shop to support. Sadly this month there are 2 shops within travelling distance of Kettering who will be closing their doors  for the last time. They want to sell the stock so if you are looking for a bargain please visit them. The details are on the diary page. After our lovely speaker at our last meeting this  month  we will be back to a sewing project.

Kettering Quilters was established in 1983 by two keen experienced quilters to further an interest in patchwork. We are a friendly group of keen sewers who meet  to share our knowledge of traditional blocks more modern techniques and small sewn projects.

The group meets every third Wednesday of the month - January - November.
