Half way through the year and what lovely weather we have enjoyed during June with the met office promising us more to come. If you are someone who does not enjoy the sun and heat I hope you can find a cool spot to enjoy your sewing. For me a shady spot in the garden a cool drink with a copy of a quilting magazine and some hand sewing is bliss. This month Sunbonnet Sue is making an appearance at our meeting. I know she is a little like marmite love her or hate her but as we are going to learn a new technique I hope she will be liked by all at the end of the project.
Kettering Quilters was established in 1983 by two keen experienced quilters to further an interest in patchwork. We are a friendly group of keen sewers who meet to share our knowledge of traditional blocks more modern techniques and small sewn projects.
The group meets every third Wednesday of the month - January - November.
2pm - 4pm
Non members may attend three times during the year on payment of the visitor's fee of £3 before they are required to become a full member. Full membership is currently £15 per year. Accompanied children may attend on payment of 50p
